ANN NAMARA MUSINGUZI

Ann has an extensive wealth of experience in Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution (with an emphasis on arbitration mediation),construction law and Corporate Practice.. She is passionate about Employment Law and has curved out a niche in that area having successfully represented top financial institutions in her career.

She has tremendous experience in the area of debt recovery, securities registration and corporate litigation and has ably represented a number of multinational clients. Ann further offers secretarial and corporate advisory services to a select number of corporate clients who hold her legal services in high regard.

Prior to establishing Namara Musinguzi & Co. Advocates, Ann worked with ALP Advocates as Head of the firm’s Corporate & Commercial Department and later headed the Regulatory & Compliance Department of the firm.

Ann also worked with Arcadia Advocates and MB Gimara Advocates, majorly in the Banking & Financing and Corporate & Commercial Departments. In all the mentioned law firms, Ann meticulously delivered beyond what was expected of her and left an indelible mark.

Ann is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, and a member of the Uganda Law Society and the East Africa Law Society. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre in Kampala and a Certificate in Trial Advocacy from Justice Advocacy Africa. She is an accredited arbitrator with Chartered Institute of Arbitrators United Kingdom.
